Club HAVANA Band or ‘la BOMBA de Sydney’ as they are affectionally called by their ever increasing
fan base is the Salsa sound of Australia, playing Salsa, Timba, Son, Songo, Cumbia, Cha cha cha and Boleros.
They are particularly known for their fiery original & very danceable repertoire. They are considered to be
Australia’s Premiere Salsa outfit (Latin Choice Awards 2000).
The group has performed extensively throughout Australia & in recent years has graced stages overseas, including:
Jambalaya Int. Fest (NZ). 06’. New Caledonia 04’. They have been on national TV & Radio numerous times & are always

Armandito y su Trovason
This traditional seven piece Latin band features Cuban trumpeter Armando Garcia Perez.
On stage, the band is characterised by a high energy, distinctively Cuban sound that blends traditional Cuban music with gifted improvisation. They spontaneously adapt the music to the audience which makes it impossible not to become involved. The addition of sophisticated vocal harmonies and dynamics creates a truly distinctive, fresh and exuberant sound.
The band's repertoire includes all the popular Latin rhythms of Cuba , ranging from traditional to modern styles, like Son, Rumba, Conga,
ChaChaCha, Bolero, Mambo and Salsa.

A 10 piece authentic Salsa band lead by Uruguayan composer and international singing sensat...ion Gonzalo Porta.
Amongst Gonzalo's extensive musical credits, he has achieved 8 gold records with countless no# 1 hits throughout Latin America.
Now based in Sydney, he has recently form The Sydney Salsa All Stars, a collection of some of Sydney's finest salsa musicians who have formed the
backbone of countless influential Latin bands over the years.
The band repertoire includes Gonzalo's own original salsa compositions as well as some of the biggest Salsa hits from around the world.
Gonzalo's music is comparable to the rich and energetic Salsa movement that has been sweeping the Latino dance floors of New York City,

The Salsa Kingz
Band
Formed in 2002 exclusively to cater for
the increasing demands of Australia's corporate
events. Whilst the original band primarily focuses
as a traditional Salsa band, the Salsa Kingz have
added to the mix a wider range of party songs
including hits from Disco and Rock n Roll era to
todays today's Latino Pop Stars such as Ricky
Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Estefan, Shakira
and Jennifer Lopez.

Mi Tierra:
Mi Tierra is THE Latin
American dance band known for playing exhilarating rhythms in salsa; merengue;
mambo; bomba; cha cha and the latest Timba Cubana. Made up of 14 members,
Mi Tierra's sound is characterised by a pulsating rhythm and amazing percussion
section, layered with breathtaking vocals and tight punching horns. Top
this off with unforgettable intense performances with energetic sharp
choreography and you have critics labeling them as "One of Australia's
finest bands", and "more of what this country needs."

(Sydney - Australia), "Mambo Asi" band has created quite a following.
Whether your taste lies in the latest commercial music with a Latin feel
or you prefer traditional Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Cha cha cha or Cumbia,

Rumberos:
Los Rumberos is an 11 piece powerhouse Latin band featuring
the cream of Melbourne's Latin musicians. With songs from Irakere, Charanga
Habanera, Los Van Van and original tunes.
Rumberos plays tunes that no other band dares to try and play. Aimed at
the sophisticated Latin music listener who can appreciate complex rhythms
and arrangements, and to those who cant help but dance.

Carlitos Orchestra:
Concentrating mainly in the 'Salsa dura' (heavy or hard salsa) genre, this band composes its own original material but also plays a handful of well known classic favourite Salsa and Cuban songs, revamped into the bands original sound, comparable to the Salsa sounds sweeping the dance floors of New York City, Miami Beach, Colombia and Havana Cuba.
Carlitos Orchestra is directed by Colombian composer Carlos Naranjo. His background and influences have taken this band through different styles of music: salsa dura, cumbia, bambuco, jazz, bosanova, latin jazz, descarga... and more.
