Club HAVANA Band or ‘la BOMBA de Sydney’ as they are affectionally called by their ever increasing fan base is the Salsa sound of Australia, playing Salsa, Timba, Son, Songo, Cumbia, Cha cha cha and Boleros. They are particularly known for their fiery original & very danceable repertoire. They are considered to be Australia’s Premiere Salsa outfit (Latin Choice Awards 2000). Armandito y su Trovason
This traditional seven piece Latin band features Cuban trumpeter Armando Garcia Perez. On stage, the band is characterised by a high energy, distinctively Cuban sound that blends traditional Cuban music with gifted improvisation. They spontaneously adapt the music to the audience which makes it impossible not to become involved. The addition of sophisticated vocal harmonies and dynamics creates a truly distinctive, fresh and exuberant sound.
